Cake Stall Policy
Noranda Netball Association Clubs may hold a Fundraiser Cake Stall. Available dates will be emailed to clubs from the Competition Administrator and allocated on a first to respond basis. Dates for Cake Stalls will be limited throughout the season so as not to coincide with the Associations Special Rounds or Finals with no guarantee each club will be able to hold a cake stall.
THE PURPOSE
This Policy acts as a guide for clubs who are advised they can hold a Cake Stall to follow rules and procedures expected by the Association.

Items that can be sold
Food Handling
Clubs are expected to abide by the City of Bayswater Food Safe guidelines and must have/use the following:
Club Volunteers need to be mindful of hygiene when handling food items, handling cash and touching other surface ensuring that gloves are changed and or hand cleaned appropriately in between.
Allergies/Ingredients
Clubs are recommended to request that a list/label of Ingredients contained in the food items being
sold on the stall. It is also suggested that clubs have the following sign on display at their cake stall.
“No responsibility is accepted by ……….. Netball Club for any adverse reactions to foods
consumed from this Cake stall. Some of these items may contain, nuts, gluten, eggs,
milk products, soy and or seed”.

Breach of Policy
If a breach of this policy is deemed to have occurred, the following penalties may apply.
The above policy is final, Noranda Netball Association Committee will not enter into any discussion with
clubs, teams or individuals.

- Raffle Tickets/Fundraising Chocolates

- Food tongs
- Paper Bags or napkins to serve food item

Day of Cake Stall
- Cake stalls will be held at the end of the Verandah before the large patio at the end of building (near drinking fountain) adjacent court 1.
- Two trestle tables maximum per cake stall and these can be borrowed from Noranda Netball Associations Clubroom. Must be collected from clubroom prior to Green Shirt program starting at 7:30am
- Cake Stalls can commence from 7:30am and must be finished by 12noon at the latest, regardless of the time they start.
- Clubs are responsible for bringing all their own equipment including arranging a float/change.
- Clubs are responsible for packing up, cleaning the area and removing all items used and ensuring rubbish is placed in appropriate bins.
- Clubs will also need to pack away and return Noranda Netball Association trestle tables if borrowed.
Breach of Policy
If a breach of this policy is deemed to have occurred, the following penalties may apply.
- The club may be asked to remove certain items from sale at the stall.
- The club may be asked to end their cake stall immediately and pack up.
- The club may be excluded from holding cakes stall in future seasons.
- Any other penalty deemed suitable according to Noranda Netball Associations Code of Conduct.
The above policy is final, Noranda Netball Association Committee will not enter into any discussion with
clubs, teams or individuals.
